Katie Franke is a fourth-year school psychology doctoral student from Roanoke, Virginia. She is a 2011 graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she received a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Romance Languages. After graduating from W&L, Katie worked for two years as a Lead Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist at a day school for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Buena Vista, Virginia. She currently studies under the mentorship of Dr. Scott Huebner and Dr. Kim Hills, and her research interests include life satisfaction and psychosocial assets for youth with high-functioning ASD.
